Perhaps, as a child, in the restless enthusiasm of imagination, dreaming of continuing a family tradition, perhaps this foggy desire, without my will and knowledge, flowed through my veins, shaped my personality and sought the path to realization.


Today, when I have years of experience and knowledge, together with my family, I am convinced that nothing is accidental, that the longing wish of my grandfather by mother, Milenko "Ajduk", to have her own cafe, and leave it to his descendants, finally came true, and it seems that those foggy and difficult years, which left a trail on me and on people close to me, once and for all went to oblivion.

"Kasina Kod Ajduka" is just a continuation of a long story in which Milenko "Ajduk" dreamed his and my dream; he case-hardened his own and my character; he remained consistent with himself in good and evil; ready to make wise and straightforward decisions without any hasitation. Perhaps thats why I, looking for the reason for the decision to open a cafe, realized that it is stronger than any reasonable justification, that it is a continuation of the family tradition and an inevitable part of my life, the part that gives my existence a specific color and taste. I know that bars have souls, like humans; human lives are intertwined in them, cultures, natures, destinies clash. Each in its own way tells its story in thousands of variations and each of these stories gives a seal to the time in which it originated.

I am deeply convinced that for "Kasina kod Ajduka“ the time is just coming when the atmosphere and the special spirit will provide the desired beauty to many. Perhaps this is exactly the mystery of this ambience.
